Ramona's 8th Evil Ex-Boyfriend

Mike Mirglip is Ramona Flower's dad's neighbor. He and Ramona met between the time she left Scott and the Scott/Gideon fight. Ramona befriended him because he reminds her a lot about Scott. They look similar. EVEN HIS LAST NAME IS A CREEPY COINCIDENCE! But that's about it though. Personality-wise, he is the opposite. Shy, low self-esteem, weird around girls. In those months she hung out with Mike, she told him about everything. Scott, the League of Evil Exes and her troubles. Mike listened every time and tried to give useful input. Ramona valued his advice.

While he is her 8th evil ex, he never really 'dated' her. He just believes this in his head. He confirmed it after they had a "heart-to-heart" talk and she gave him a thank you kiss on the forehead.

Ramona didn't even deny it when Mike's mom asked if his "little girlfriend" was staying for dinner. (Ramona was actually trying on Mike's noise cancelling headphones at the time)

Ramona told him of how she felt bad leaving Scott and not have any closure. He told her to go seek closure with Scott and move on. (So she can be with him.) Ramona's head started to glow as Mike's words sink in. As she began to ride with the glow and fade away, Mike's mom asked if his "little girlfriend" was staying for dinner. Ramona exclaimed "Huh? I'm not your girlfriend." and with that she disappeared.

Mike was devastated to hear this. Had he just been 'dumped?' In his depressed state, he scoured the depths of Craigslist. After being dissatisfied with everything he's finding, he becomes curious. He types in "Ramona" in search and the first link that shows up is a post searching for any of Ramona's exes looking to get together to control her love life. He replies to the ad, and several minutes later he gets an automated reply from Gideon Graves explaining the league but is no longer accepting exes as they have already begun on their new target: Scott Pilgrim. Mike realizes Ramona is probably going to reconcile with Scott. He declares himself the 8th evil ex and vows revenge against Scott.


His secret power is: the power of the internet! He has his own personal army called Anonymous made up of ...anonymous people to do his bidding. (Not really, they only agreed to help him get Ramona back. They're suckers for helping hopeless romantics) Mike uses his internet skills (google) to find Scott's residence.

It's going to take some time to get to Scott as Mike is only 15 but he'll figure it out. And in the meantime he'll send out his troops that live in Toronto to give Scott an unpleasant experience until then.
